drat

ah well ~ we gave it a good go. We did take a jersey in the bit'mo geezers' race (ver.40.44), but then in the baby geezers - even though Lothar, me, n' Martin went full-guns blazing against the stargazers - just came up that bit short.

one giant starburry was too much sweetness for us and he crept me down in the final meters to take a well-earned win. He was the strongest on the day and withstood all our bombs dropped.

can't win 'em all.

but, that don't stop the tryin'. there's always another race.

there were some ups and downs this weekend

i learned what size wheels a racer under 1 foot tall should use

i saw way too much unsportspersonlike behavior

i witnessed (not without a few missed heartbeats) a ton of hard hard racing from a sometimes white/sometimes black-clad team that was very impressive to watch---and i'm proud of every one of you guys

i thought there was all kinds of good racing out there. The EMC boys did there best in our race, Castia shutting down the pack when Nate was up the road. Then Baker did his best to get in on the winner.

The Solano guys and Owen's riders worked quite hard to bring it back together under a lot of stress. Laberge almost made it through with his sprint.

good hard racing.

Another learning experience and in the dust again here.

Had to think about what happened in that 40s race for a bit, but then it occurred that it was just darned good bike racing and done in pro races. Perfect execution - thx for the show. There is one team out there that really needs to grow up though - wtf..

Nice racing. I would have sworn there was 15 of ya'll out there in the 40+.
I had a fun half an hour.

I wanna post about the real hero of the weekend.

But I wanna wait until I can add the pic.

Lets just say that I had the opportunity to watch a real pro in action.
