Jaws/Peahi's capable of producing waves but the slope of the wave is nowhere close to maverick's. So it's much more dangerous to surf at maverick's than it is at Jaws.
Jaw's and Mav's both have been one-upped by Ghost's. The boil and just-inside rocks make it much more of a life or death deal. Fourteen tow teams were out this recent day when our friend Pete drowned. PK spent all yesterday meticulously searching her Kodachrome archives collecting several dozen slides of his adolescent to adult growing-up life to give to his son and family tonight. Pete's seen on one of these sequences trying to paddle in on this tow-only day. MK

Yeah, it's definitely fun. I find auto racing tons of fun as well. I like the idea of going over 150 mph and be inches away from the wall.
