Getting TrackNatz clues from the Nicolator ~

  1. No women make the time standard for the Mass Start.

    bummer.

  2. Men's leader looks to be Bobby Lea at 3.26.2.

    BJM is 2nd at 3.29.6

    neither make the time standard.

  3. Jen Reid takes gold in the 500m, Lang is Silver.

  4. PALAEZ BRONZE IN KILO!!!

  5. SILVER FOR HELLYER PURSUIT TEAM!!!

RKillit, Benjamins, and Jamiel grabbed Zirbel mckook? and pulled a stunning 2nd over the trackies.

    what a ride, roadies.

looking for event results coming later today.

thanks Nikki!

Speaking of fast chicks ~

going hill'erval way after work today with Stellar and 'Tash.

talk about stuck in a hammerhead sandwich. Tash was absolutely killing it on the tailwind express down hwy 1 yesterday's nooner. Hopefully she's a bit gassed from it and will let me talk shit to keep it slow.

and Stella is building steps for the cross season, so this is the perfect time to catch her into the web of secret Hernando suffer'vals.

maybe i'll get her to do some running drills, too.

time standard for what? for the long team?

Ippoc Amic said...

or for worlds?

And I'm confused as to why there are qualifying times to a mass start race. Time is an indication of possibility, but does nothing to test other skills needed in a mass start race.

Times for talent pool.....

World and soon to be Olympic talent pool.....

Meeting the time standard automatically gets you into the Track Talent Pool for next year and it sounds like there is some financial support for people in the talent pool http://www.usacycling.org/forms/selection/track_talent.pdf

Team Hellyer Park: Silver in team pursuit.

RK

P.s. Lets not have a debate about the validity of the mass start test.
