very bummed for BJM, his wheel was stuck against his frame for entire pursuit - scratch race revenge up later

holee crap ... Dotsie just took 7 seconds off her time from a couple weeks ago at the lo-cal champyships.

we'll see if Shelley the little rocket will see that kind of jump, too.

whaaa?

no Olds for the Pursuit? she would have been in the medals with her time from a few weeks back.

she must be saving it all up for za'Scratch?

we'll see...

was it Rob Evans who qualified in heat 1 of the scratch race??? or another evans?

A pulled wheel entitles you to a re-start, once.

It was a weak field in the women's pursuit (nobody within 5% of the best pursuiters), so it would have been a good opportunity for Shelley. It's too bad riders have to face the mass start test the day before they do the pursuit and scratch races. It forces riders to choose among events they're good at. Hopefully BJM will be full-on for the points race.

track racing is dead. not trying to be negative. just a fact. there is no talent in us track cycling anymore, except hammer time.

...but in the pursuit it's all about Sarah Hammer. There are still openings for Shelley in the Olympics points race and World Cup scratch and points races.

Mini-Phinney wins the Pursuit.

frickin' awesome.

Looks like Shelley played her cards, but it was King who pulled the right move at the right time for the Scratch title. Men's event starting now.

got a txt that 7 of our NorCal boys are in the final. should be good.

THANK YOU FGF!!!

Yeah that was me Evans, took a lap in the heat, but it was REAL ugly. The final was insanly fast. Shelley skipped the persuit to focus on the scratch, Kristen King jumped away solo to win the scratch, and Shelley miscalculated the lap cards...heard the 1 to go bell and came from real deep to take 6th. She was real bummed, but rode a very aggrisive race. She was very marked.
