good luck! i was on a 2.5 month murder trial from mid march - june. it was rough. on the ups, court was only from 9:30-4:30 so I had lots of extra time to ride my bike.
The prosecutor will get one look at you with that flower sticking out of your helmet and have you stricken immediately. Can't have no "soft on crime" lib screwing up his conviction rate.
I recently retired from the military and they sent me 4 notices while I was in Iraq in 2001 then 3 of them in 2003. I was warned (from the court) it was my civic duty to show up.
I had to prove I was over in Iraq so I sent them pictures.
they weren't pretty. although the one of me on rollers next to a jet loaded with bombs looks cool. we never used the bombs; just flew around alot.
and please don't get political on me, I don't think we should be there as much as the next person. believe me, the guys/gals over there fighting don't want to be there either...
Stupid California sent me a jury duty notice FIVE YEARS after I moved out of the state and it wasn't a forewarding address either. They sent it to Nevada!

Tell the judge that you can't serve because millions of fans need you to update this blog on an hourly basis.

Of course if you end up on a DUI, you'll probably send the dude to the chamber.
Just make sure you keep the standard that it's okay to play on the freeway.

I always tell them I am perfect juror, "I am psychic and can spot a guilty person a mile away".
Strange though, I just can't seem to figure out why they never pick me.
