it seems like these 10 days before the start of a one of the three bigdaddy stage races there is that low ebb of actual bike racing vibe ... replaced with a stanky morning high tide of scandalicious press.

My comment says nothing about who was right and who was wrong. I saw Uthman4 confronted on it and didn't deny it. One doesn't pull the "gentlemens aggreemet" scenario out of a hat, especially Sayers. He has been doing this for too long. Truth is Uthman would have waxed him in the sprint regardless, but Sayers wouldn't have let him had the "conversation" not happened. I was merely trying to get others thoughts on the race,as it wasn't being talked about.
...so keep it up Sally. It's going to be a long season for you.
but not as long as it will be for people that have to hide from their words....

Lets back up here. Gonna take you all the way back to Madera when:
1. Out of the blue, Sally takes a shot at me for getting beat by Uthman4 in the sprint that I didn't contest.
2.Sally gets all teste with me cause HE'S taking me across the road while HE'S attempting to look behind at the field. Twice.
3.As i'm having a rolling discussion with Hutch regarding the outcome of the race, Sally barges in with the nu-huh's & no it ain't's. In the end, who was right?
4.Sally showing the pure class of a bike racer by "needledicking" Hutch all the way to the line. Sally threw everything at Hutch, and Hutch was the better man that weekend. Sally's attitude of "if I can't win, then neither will you" is weak. Says alot about somebody's character. Just concede the damn race already. Ruined a beautiful race weekend IMO.
I'll admit that I have been impressed by how much better Sally's gotten the last couple years, but then he pulls these tricks out of the bag or shoots his mouth off about races he wasn't even in and he loses all credibility and any respect he might have been getting from me.
