"there she is, your venus ..."

so, the woman hates time trials ... but, needs some aero-bars put on her new beast for Madera. unfortunately, the new Konas come with oversized handybars ... and, of course, we've only got 26.0 diameter clip-ons in the house.

well, except for the set i use on my tt bike.

you know, the one i've been working for the past 4 weeks to get setup? the one that has taken me countless hours of frustrating grunts and wrench-slips on that stupid f'ing ergo-stem to get ... just right.

you know, that one?

So, last nite i strip down my TT rig and prep the damn tri-bars to use with her Kona. and now, today, i get to spend lunch fiddling with the 26.0's i transferred on to my bessy ... trying like hell to find a position that won't leave me bleeding out the hoohaw come Saturday afternoon's sufferfest.

jayzus, i better get laid for this.

yup, TRACTRAC was right.

sorry for not looking at the stupid things, T.

jeffe, can you bring an extra set of oversized for T, just in case.

you know, we could turn that Time frame of yours into a TT bike, Tracie.

but then, you'd have to ride it.

if I had a tt bike then i would actually have to pretend like i'm a time trialist.

but it is a thought.... after my stellar performance at CVC i'm thinking i could use all the help i can get!!

I thought asking but didn't ask to borrow oversize bars because I am still in denial about having to do a tt tomorrow...but you know, aerobars really really help make the time trial less horrible than it already is going to be...some are so comfortable, you could fall asleep on them...

by the way sexnando, thank you for all bits!. just for info, all SRAM rear mech's wobble on the 5mm bolt that secures to the der. hanger on frame. it is a ...built in..slop. should go away w/ chain tension. sram intruder brakes (?)oh, or...whatever, but the 'a'brakes are only 11grams less than the 'b' brake s that all the...racers have (one can evacuate themselves far more than that!). we can only figure that the force brakes are polished a little harder by the 11year olds (making the b level brakes more politicall correct). just like the front mech's, same weight in both groups. why? does anyone care? well, just in case whilst building these things. oh, shimamo chains and cassettes work better w/ said bits. and if it don't fit, force it.
