otter guts
Sabine has phone-pic'd some shots of the 40+ boys getting ready to hit their road race.
no idea who else is there, but it looks like Hootch and za'Kramer will have their hands full with an on-form BagBoy duo of CWire and PatT.
[edit: oop, looks like Hutchy is doing the 30+ with his 'mates. Of note - on the drive down to SnOtter, Mike's fork got snapped off at the racks from a wind blast. He got a replacement from the Ritchey boys, pronto-like, and made the start with 20minutes to spare.
... good warmup!]
doh ... it just hit me that there are races within 50 miles that i'm missing.
double-doh.
ah well, you can't do 'em all.

go Safeway!
we gotta get that blue helmet off of CWire's head. (and put a black one there in its place, of course)
it just occurred to me....
is it really THAT windy down there today?
sounds....lovely.
apparently the Expo is seeing some damage.
some vendors never learn.
i love seeing carbon frames flying like kites....
How 'bout that "Adventure" race tomorrow where landlubbers from near and far get to paddle tippy kayaks into the teeth of the Spring NW trades, a still fairly robust storm swell and water temp's dipping into the high 40's with the seasonal upwelling. Doh...indeed!
MK
nutcakes
they deserve what they get.
... which will be some damn good war stories (for those surviving)
was that fork an easton??????
I know two that snapped off the rooftop last season and is why I took my thule rack off the R32.....
Why is it that you get to race more when you get older? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
I'm windburnt
oops, that was me...I'm the windburnt one
you all look pretty cool/hot hangin'..... skates and what ever those pants were!! Friday was a perfect day there, glad I did not decide to be Cris Walker and ride the road race again with an even faster group.
the bag boys were tough again, and Cris is perfect in that blue lid cause you guys all look the same.. gosh, maybe you could at least invite us on a few of your winning moves, of course I have no excuse, as I followed him to the front and watch him go. speaking of go... the go go man was racin' thursday, look out here they come.
