i know, i know

If he doesn't get popped for an association with Puerto ...

i would love to see Vino win Le Tour.

Say what you want about the state of affairs in big-top racing ... but, the Tour is still one fukkal magical event. Three weeks of heart singing drama, limb snapping suffering, highs and lows, explosions and redemptions ...

It's the Tour, baby. And I'll always love it.

- - -

With Basso riding the DiscoTrain ... he's going to be hard to beat. Yet, the innards are talking up Valverde quite a bit, too. But, as much as I love me some dreamy-eyed Basso and hold as much fear of the Valverde acceleration as the next guy ... my heart still goes out to Vino as the sentimental choice.

Attacking underdawgs ... always my favorites.

... it's probably the babyblue kit.

As for Basso - something tells me he'll be racing. and Valverde? i guess we'll see if there's a spaniard who can take the pressure this year.

maybe we go and wave our khazakstan(sp?) flag in gey paris this year?

Vino must crush doubtful peoples who make him sit home and drink beers, eat shashlyk in last summer, not win respected Tour for glorious benefit of nation of Kazakhstan. Plus, sister get married, need new television.

shashlyk=kebab

Astana's got some power house this season. Salvodelli is one of them. So Giro (Salvo), Spain (Vino)...only thing missing is TDF.

This sure is a team to watch for this year...

oh man...Astana's also got Kloden.
