the unbearable weightness of being

Furioso tells me about a 12-year old frozen as a toddler.

ZsaZsa spins me, marionette-like, around her furnitured world.

and the heavy, coastal fog envelopes time and existence ... like a thick, damp blanket tossed over a restless form, trapping limbs and tightening breath.

I believe I'll be ditching work today ... the 3 hour meeting on the horizon about administrative procedure is already sucking the life out of me ... and frankly, life is too important to be lost.

And so, I decide to take some of those comp hours stored in the bank.

because life is too important.
