on the rag

with two people as bike addicted as we are ... maintenance can become a serious issue.

riding after work doesn't leave much time or energy to do a tune-up when you get home. and we've got loads of bikes that needs the tune-ups. racing every weekend leaves almost zero mojo left to cuddle with the bikes ... and any cuddle-time remaining is used on each other.

but tonite ...

tonite i promise i'll do my best to wash, grease, solventize, and max wax up those lovely steeds.

i'll just have a little glass of wine first ...

is wine BEFORE the bike maintainance really such a good idea?

I heard the tale of migo, the mountain bike, and no brakes...

i think you should definitely drink LOTS of wine before you work on your bikes and for breakfast before all the Calcup races

My bike wishes it needed to be cleaned...that is when it isn't wishing to go for a ride.

I hate work.

Especially out of town work!

(But the Guerciotti is happy she got to a quickie today...)

where does one take a number and get in line?

You'll have to make him dinner (does salad count as dinner?) and bring him beer.

and other stuff

I always drink while working on bikes in the garage - a good way to double task two things I rarely have time for. Another good reason to have multiple bikes, just ride the cleanest, quietist one.
