raam-ing speed

So, this year they changed the format ... they are forcing riders to take 4 hour stops everyday. They say they want a race more about speed then sleep deprivation.

hmm...

anyway, if you want to take a peep into the utter weirdness of Raam-ites ... check it out.

My suggestions?

read Tinker's

then Boyer

then Souza

... what a bunch of frickin' wackjobs.

I like my suffering to be short, sweet, and intense. Days and days and days of suffering (anything longer than about 6 hours)for me = absolute torture. I just don't get RAAM...

Tinker, lil wacky, but I love the dreads; "one love, tinker!"

Boyer, only wacky because of the trouble he got in, but pretty solid racer given my limited cycling knowledge.

Souza, I'm going with this guy since he has the Portuguese last name!

I also do not understand riding that distance with so little rest.
