pass the bottle

i suppose a gratitude should be felt ~ that these few, fading heartbeats of rage still pound chaotic against the chest. Is it not signal that there remains uncovered and yet unextinguished some small amount of youth?

To feel the thin slivers of an innocent, if immaturely righteous outrage.
To sway with the inner flames of a demanded and defined justice.
To fight.

but we are encased in decay. and gains made and bled for ~ die with us. we are an ever-producing, ever repeating crop of brutes and victims.

So let's talk bicycles ... yay!

In the lands of silicon leases and venture capitalist bravado ~ we had the District crit. LaLaLoyd crushed it in a late race break and PROMAN swept the podium with big Drumm and petite Ford sprinting out the field. The race had good aggression from what i heard, with VeloBella's Monk going off the front early and then a good amount of Minty attacks later on. But, PROMAN is the best amateur crit team in the nation. period.

Your other PROMAN rah-rah is that Shelley Olds got some more national press by throwing down hard at that crashfest Manhattan Beach GP.

good work ladies.

For the men, it was BigBadBosch surviving the final lap pile-up and taking home the winner's cup for his ma n' babies. Sorry youngsters, but the old guys are racing too hard this year. Come again when you've gained more bearing.

What about some Minty rah-rah? Amanda E. got nipped at the line by Shelley & ended up in 7th. Not bad for her fourth NRC race...
