Am I incorrect when I notice that 9 out of the 26 teams are US teams??

That's a lot of merkins over there fighting it out.

Project that out for the next decade...

The only stage winner from last year is a local boy, B B-R.

Phinney and Summerhill drop me on a regular basis out here in the CO.

Trust me, you want NOTHING of either of them if you're smart.

These kids will be regulating in Europe for many years to come. Get used to it.

Danny will win a CX World Title eventually and Taylor will make Moms and Pops proud. I was a Junior when Connie was pregnant with Taylor.

CRAZY.

Grant Van Horn is a teamate on Simply Fit....super fast/talented/strong Cat 2. Just got back from the euro junior tour. lots and lots of junior talent coming, perhaps the best we've seen in a long time??

I can proudly boast that Micah beat
Taylor Phinney in the road race at
Natz this year.

Well, that's nice for him I guess. From what I've heard it was a rather hectic event at Nats.

I would imagine that when you're the son of an Olympic Gold medalist and multiple Tour stage winner...you kind of have a target on your back eh? Not exactly a long leash for the Kid.

That's cool though.

Anyway, both D-Sum and Taylor are good kids. It sometimes sucks to get shellacked by dudes with freshly laminated driver's licsenses but...ALL Juniors should get ALL of our support.

Remember Whitney Houston - Crack is Whack.

Oh wait...I think that was a different quote.

The Children Are Our Future.

Understood. In fact, Micah has had
nothing but positive remarks for
Taylor,noting that his backside is
about the only sighting he has had
of him and thinks he will win the GC for l'Abitibi.

This was Micah's first Natz and is
also his first l'Abitibi and as
such, Daddio has a hard time keeping his mouth shut when he does
good.

Props on the 2nd quote

That is very cool Scott. I was fortunate enough to have parents that supported me and Micah is lucky to have such a good foundation. I hope he is very grateful because I know it can be difficult on the family.

I feel sorry for what I put my folks through during my younger racing days. Broken collarbones on Thanksgiving and regular hospital visits were much harder on them than me in retrospect.

Keep up the support and be proud man. Nothing wrong with that at all. I hope to read and write about all these guys someday.

Peace and please pass on the positive vibe. USA!! USA!!
