Sigh...part of me can't believe I'm about to write this, but:
--Coming from the nation that hosts the annual seal hunt, I know that there are many on the east coast who fiercely defend it. To them, it's a job that they get paid for, like fishing or lobstering. Some jobs suck, but it's still a job, and some of the hunters probably have families to feed.
--Things just as bad and worse probably happened to the chicken I'll eat for dinner tonight. I'm still going to eat it. QB's Kobe beef burger probably had a pretty good life, though.
Yes, even worse things happened to your chicken, and your cow, and your pig. They are tortured for a lifetime only to get brutally murdered. How can we call ourselves animal lovers. (not to get all political on you but it's clearly a topic dear to my heart.)
