You tell him Sabine! That dinner's miiiiine bitch! And that cat is so damn adorable and hilarious! Wish I was there! But I am at Chipoltle enjoying a burrito! Then back to paper writing!
Work is work, home is home. Words to live by. I'm in Watsonville for work on Friday. Is there a good route out of Pajaro Dunes that will take me on some lonely roads with no traffic, oh great sage of all things coastal?
Back when I worked at Granite, I was attending some work dinner thing at a place that was open to the public. During cocktails we were sitting around and gabbing with these other folks. They eventually got around to telling us that they were salesman and chief director thingies for xxo company in Palo Alto and the future looked exciting what with the vc funding they got and the launch of blah blah version 7.
Then they looked at one guy in our party and asked what we did. He replied, "I crush rocks"

okay....
he's sitting in his poang chair, with a pile of some kind of paperwork on his lap and a pen in his hand...all serious like.
but each time I look over, he's got someone's blog open. And he's giggling about it.
And I am left wondering where my dinner is.
don't forget the margaritas
That is the cutest frickin' kitty (but don't tell my kitty I said so).
elf! do not be fooled by the devil kitty! she paralyzes her prey with cuteness then strikes!
OLAF--GO MAKE DINNER!

A quick lunch ride could be:
head east on West Beach, left at San Andreas, right on Buena Vista, left on larkin valley, and return on San Andreas.
This little loop gives you both coastal flat roads and a few gentle climbs.
Strawberry fields, ocean, and rural horsey country. (and the dump that you'll pass by)
Stop at Manresa beach on the way back for a few moments. Its worth it.
what she said.
and get it in early to avoid the showers that might squeak in.
Thx. I'll be with a bunch of rockpile people so it will take an ark to float by to keep me from rolling.

And so ended the conversation.

thus my troubles....I work at home. can't rationalize the expense to rent an office or a studio just yet.
Not in picture: roaring fire, fuzzy booties, hot (faux) chicken soup, old(e) time radio, etc.
Great picture.
