The lady that is fostering her, her kids found her. She was starving and flea ridden. And closer inspection of her revealed several cigarette burns on her teeny tiny little body and most of her fur gone in those areas.
They nursed her back to health. She passed all her tests and her coat is back and you can barely see the sign of one of the burns.
The cat is well adjusted and seems to get along fine in a household with two dogs, 4 kids and a giant african grey parrot.
She won't be much of a lap cat (there is a little black male I have my eye on that might fit that role) but she will be able to hold her own in our crazy household.
I need to stop or I am going to turn into one of those crazy cat ladies (don't you dare stack my cats)
What the hell kind of person would put their cigarette out on a little helpless kitten? I don't even like to know that fucked up people like that exist.
