chuck it
stupid cross.
drove 140 miles to pre-ride a gawdamn cross race course. i really, REALLY need to get another hobby. I'm thinking model aeroplanes. Or maybe photographing endangered woodpeckers.
The race is Aptos - deep in the heart of nowhere's-ville 'duuude' country. The course is just going to be punishment tomorrow. I'm too old for this shit. I mean, maybe I could start golf? Frisbee golf? Miniature golf?

"nowhere's-ville" ??
a bow both deep and smiling,
"apologies, my queen."
your blog starts where I met you, that is, if we don't count the dancing one you slipped in.
rather interesting, that -
don't you think?

now i'm getting confused again
i changed the settings on the blog. the comments are auto-saved with date stamps. so, i just switched the setting to date only (euro-style, of course ... cause i'm queero-trash) and took out the clock time-stamp.
i'm so funny.
yo!
the meeting was only a meeting we remember in hindsight
makes it all the more special that way for many reasons...
i remember every second you have been within arm length of me.
The first words we spoke to each other were over an engine's rumble, a gaggle's din of conversation, and joyful sighs of fatigue after a fun day's work.
even that brief, surreal glance of a meeting ... some bizarre, unknowable bolt of ... something ran ragged through me - touching every fiber and swimming free through every single cell of my being.
at the time, there was only one response ... dumb joy and a huge hand up to the gods, 'take notice, please ... i've found something i want ... name your price.'

i get the time stamps, silly (how dense do you think i am?)
it was the meeting date that confused me so thanks for splainin'
strewth!
The thought is so lovely, that I will allow the poetic license and add...
when you said hello to me, way out by the water, in the middle of your race, my heart skipped a few beats.
and it has been skipping ever since
i just read the xls spreadsheet note ... i'm so done.
you know the words I'm saying right now.
just three words.
over and over again.
