Cuz it makes sense ...

2 Janez Brajkovic (Slo) Disco
9 Manuel Beltran (Spa) Disco @39
11 Thomas Danielson (USA) Disco @42 [CN]
tommy D's got about as much a chance at commanding loyalty on that crew as ... Hincapie.

i noticed that too.

not sure why Brjkovic was up the road a bit--could have been a stategeric reason for that, i guess...

but Beltran 3 seconds in front of TD--if TD is really their GC guy, that seems a bit odd...

Something about TD bothers me. Not sure what it is, but there is something there. Something is not right.

what bothers me about TD is the expectations from him

bruyneel at the start of the tour(TDF) shuffled his cards and laid it all out in the table but doesn't know which card to pick

unlike last year, he knows which card to pick - the king

The plan was to help Tom [Danielson] on the final climb. When Di Luca attacked I tried to follow in the beginning there was a little gap which I managed to close and then I just followed the wheel ...

"Obviously Tom is our leader here," the 2004 under 23 world time trial champion continued. "That is my first priority - I don't think I am going to be capable of maintaining this kind of shape for the whole race."

big help, that.

lil Tommy needs to grab that team by the balls and squeeze. Will he?

I can't help rootin' for Tommy D as I maintain this weird affection for Disco-very. But . . . I have to agree witchoo about the command problemo.

geez...I almost put Janez on my Vuelta list, but thought he was still a bit too young and too skinny

I believe that one of Brjkovic's contractual incentives at Discovery was a box of pop-tarts for every time he podiums. Tonight, he gets choco-sprinkles.
