me = ready

... to give the cross bikes some dirty lovin'.

so, so, so wanting September to roll around so i can jump into that wicked little sport. me wantee the action, the grime, the squeals and butt clenchings.

the hops, the grunts, the obstacles.

the pure fun, the drunkin delights, the mad cat-calls, and gongs of glee, baby.

.

~ bring on the good stuff ~

All this talk about SeaSlotter has me fantasizing about the free-wheeling joys of dirt riding ... and yes, dirt racing. I have to admit, road racing can sometimes get a wee bit snore-arific, you dig? And, even the crits can, at times, become a lil' bit predictable.

But the cross?

... achtung my lovelies ~

the concentration is a razor's edge,
the skillz must be full-tilt 24/7,
the efforts are straight up other-worldy.

And, the vibe is so ... bellarific.

the vibe, baby ~ the vibe.

Yeah, yeah, a oupl weekends of no racing and you will be re-energized for the road.

Or else there's gonna be trouble...

oh, and if you think crits can be predictable, please read my latest post.

I think oV should come out and do D-ville on his CX bike...

I think I'm gonna kidnap and hide Ov's cross bike...

I've got plenty he could use.
and mountain bikes too.

I am a bad influence.

I love it OV, cross is the cat's meow! And all that. I live to cross and cross to live! Bring it!

this weekend, some buddies and i said: "screw the rain. let's grab the cx bikes and go climb mt. tam in the dirt." whoever's idea it was, it was the best one i'd heard in a while. mud and rain and hell with intervals and heart rates. cx-tastic!

Man, I can really relate. I've got some unfinished business on the road at this point, but not a day goes by that I don't think about the upcoming cross season... I can't friggin wait. -j

I read this earlier and decided not to take the race bike out in the rain.

CX bike got off the hook and out into the wet stuff for some fun.

Excellant postage.

it's 2 weeks of no racey-racey for me ... first time in a long time. I may only get 80 races in this year, gasp!

[all-ready feelin' better, by the way ... sickness + moved + new job = tired hernando]

2 weeks with no racing is really like 3 weeks between races

i'm sure you'll feel better everday up to a point and then you'll start to break out with hives, unable to wait until the next race....

PAB(a.k.a.CID) said...

i have a prediction, of course...

and I'm keepin it to myself, of course...
